Caplist: AGM software

Caplist is a platform that enables companies to simplify and regulate many of their activities mainly focusing on setting up and recording their general meetings.

My Role

As the product designer, I played a pivotal role in shaping the user experience by leading the design process from conceptualization to execution. My responsibilities encompassed comprehensive planning, wireframing, and interface design, while ensuring seamless collaboration with developers through regular design reviews and feedback. In addition to visual design, I contributed significantly to content creation, optimizing the platform's messaging and user journey. My role also extended to providing timely solutions to emerging design challenges and ensuring the overall coherence of the user interface.

Onboarding + Dashboard

An easy onboarding interface was planned but along with being simple to access, it was safe and secure as well as we had to aim at people trusting the platform with their company information but also have instant access. Analysing the target users, we came to a realisation that many users would have multiple companies or startups they would want to work on. So we decided to give them the liberty of multiple accounts which they can choose from. We charted out a step by step process of the path that the user would take and accordingly laid out tasks on the dashboard to make it convenient for the user to see all options in front of them.

Captable

We gathered the information that a Caplist user would like to see at first glance and they would need while viewing their shareholder information and ownership status. With some trial and error, we were finally able to present that information in a concise and precise way.

Minutes of meeting

It was important to develop an easy and familiar way of editing, recording and signing the minutes of meeting enabling users to comment and share the minutes in the blink of an eye. We used a commonly used template like that of a text editing UI that our target users are comfortable with as it needs to be quick and easy to access and use.

Meeting setup

Letting users arrange meetings, create resolutions and customise responses from desired parties in a simple and step by step manner accumulating all necessary details for the procedure.

This project has strengthened my ability to manage complex design projects from inception to launch, and I have gained valuable insights into designing for business users.
